Well...this is the intro page. My liking of photograhy as a hobby is actually something new. As an instructor at a law enforcement academy I have been recently tasked with taking pictures of ongoing training. After having a blast with it this past month, I feel like I should up my equipment from my current point-and-shoot to something that gives me more control. Im currently using a Kodak M340 p/s. It takes some good pictures, but i'm wanting to be creative. So i'm looking at buying a Nikon d60 or Canon xsi/xs. Part of my initial interest in this site was to see which camera I wanted based on YOUR experience with each camera. As I have been reading the forums, I also noticed it was a great community with alot of experience. I'll be visiting often.
