    I normally have an idea when I go to take a photo. But more and more I've been wanting to do some more documenary style photos, just capturing people going about there lives. This is the first one I took with that in mind.

    Well, no doubt: you captured it.
    Were you spotted?
    Was that man wondering what on earth you were doing there?
    Good eye and good compo for a first (in street photography)!

    Nice moment. I would crop away loads at the top, since it doesn't really add to the picture... that way, the eye will be focused on the people, instead of being confused by so many lines.

    Its nice having left foreground... somewhere for them to 'stare into' -- as well as the people crossing the street... gives them somewhere to 'walk to'... thats why the image has a sense of suspense on it.
