Niagara falls at sunrise

well
at about 1am. we made the desicion to go to the falls at sunrise..
so i spent till 4am trying to throw together a diy rain cover ( stepup ring plastic bag, tape , worked great). then was up at 5am to go..

but i got some rather nice shots

These are very nice! They are all nice, but I really like 5 & 7. But the Pano... sweet! I do a lot of panos and am curious, what's your workflow? I've been using PTGui and have been very happy with the results.

Again, well worth getting up early for.

The pano was just done in Photoshop cs3 using photomerge.
open all 12 pics in CS3. file / sutomate/ photomerge.
crop it. done
ive always had good results with that.

One thing I have always wanted to do was capture the falls at sunrise. Nicely done with these, but I gotta go with the pano as my fave

Yeah if you want to see the falls, i suggest to do it at sunsrise.
as if you go during the day..
see the sidewalk on the right of the pano that leads to the falls..
well, its pretty much jam packed with people. the road is non stop traffic.
and it near impossible to get set up with a tripod at the falls like i was.
there was maybe 6 other people there..
until 7:30am. thats when the buslaods of asian tourists started pulling up.

3 7 and 8 are spectacular. I don't like the borders though *shrug* not a big thing just don't get it.
