BTW-I'm starting to wish that these couples would opt for another place to shoot engagements!!!!!!! I'm gonna scout this week to come up with more choices. I'm getting bored with this place. LOL.

I love #4. The placement of his hands looks tentative and tender. :)

The only thing I'm unsure of is the shadow behind her leg in the second picture.

Can't wait to see what location you find next!!

First of all, i'm always a fan of your work...pretty people, pretty poses, but i think they are a little plastic looking, too overprocessed, for my liking anyway...they just dont look real. sorry, i dont generally like to leave negative feedback.

I know what you mean by getting sick of the locale....you get tired of the same spot all the time, even though its 'new' to the client! we begin to loose interest...we need a new spot to spark our creativity!

I am a big fan of your work-- seriously awesome stuff!! But, I agree with emogirl on this set. Their skin seems a little plastic and there is something funny about his eyes in #2 and #5. Did you do some differnt PP with these?

Hi guys. Thank you for the feedback. You definately are right that this processing is more than the normal amount.

I give out a questionairre to all clients about the level of processing they would like. Light retouching, medium, or extreme. I have samples in my sales office showing examples of each, and then they let me know what their choice is.
This couple is a more mature couple, closer to my age. They wernen't as interested in real, as they were "really glam".
But I do hear what you are saying, and this is the reason my processing changes so much from person to person. They tell me what they want, and I do my best to give them it. :)
    Thanks for the comments!

I'll take that answer! it really is 'to each their own'....my personal preference is light retouching, get rid of the zits, soften the wrinkles, brighten eyes and get rid of 'lumps'....natural and looking your best...or the way we think we look!!! ha ha

Thanks guys. I knew you would understand.
The way we try to present ourselves is:
We've shot it all. We can do whatever YOU want.
    And then they tell us.
I think I showed a 200 lb bride before who wanted to be around 130lb in her pics. She was when we finished. It wasn't her really, but it was really what she wanted. She paid for the service, so she got it.
What she said was, "I don't care what I look like now. I want to look like my dream on my wedding day photos. I want to show my grandchildren that I was pretty."
She was pretty anyway, just not her idea of pretty.
I'm not going to argue. It was her wish for her wedding day.
