Nikkor 50mm (1.4G or 1.4D)

I'd go with the 1.8G personally. Less cost, seems to be a better lens in reviews. A friend of mine has one and likes hers.

The other lens too recommend is the Sigma 50 1.4, it's bokeh performance walks all over any Nikon 50mm lens if that is important to you.

Usually I would say rent before you buy, as it makes a huge difference to get actual hands on experience with a lens, but with the price point of that 1.8G, it's not really worth it. That lens looks promising.
