Nikon AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6D telephoto lens

Anyone use this? I'm set on getting this as my 2nd lens, so I can start to do some nature photography. My budget is limited and I've seen these go used for around 240$. Maybe I'll purchase a 2x teleconverter later on as well.

i use it more then any lens, and i have seen it sell online for much less then 240.. I paid 500 Canadian for mine last December.. ouch!! Great lens!
