Nikon Brand Flash vs. Aftermarket

I have owned Metz flashes for the last 30+ years and would never change. They've never had a problem in spite of the abuse I put them through.

And, they work with any brand of cameras...

don't get a 900, get 2 600's!

That's what I did and couldn't be happier because it gives me two lights off camera as opposed to 1, and i still have change left.

The SB-900 is way overpriced for what it is and can often have overheating problems not found in the 600 or 800.
