Nikon Camera Control Pro

I use a macbook with a dual core 2 intel chip. I want to know if Camera control pro will work with the new intel chips. I have read a few things that say it may not. If not

Has camera control pro 2 come out yet?

Is there a free trial version that can be found anywhere on the internet?
