Well I am about to buy my first dslr ... but I am not sure which one !! Both have their pros and cons ...
Its a really hard decision ...
The d3200 kit price is 345 €
And the d5100 kit is 499 ??

The d5100 has a very good sensor similar to d7000 but it's been almost 4 years since this model was released ...
On their other hand the d3200 has 24.2 MP ,WiFi ..etc .

I AM A BEGINNER IN PHOTOGRAPHY .. SO I NEED SOME HELP !!!!
ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS ??

The d3200 sensor is better than the d5100. I'd go for the d3200 in this scenario. I don't really get the d5x00 series. At that point I want to pay for an in body focusing motor and dual controls.

Have you looked at the D3300?

Wrong. It just has more Megapixels. Deterioates faster at higher ISOs, though, so at ISO 800 the D5100 will already have been pulled ahead in actual resolution.

The 16 Megapixel sensor of the D5100 is still in heavy use, for example all Fuji X cameras including the Fuji X100s and X100t, the Ricoh GR, the Nikon Coolpix A, and the Leica X and T cameras.

Sure, and the d3200 has better color bit depth and is better from ISO 100-800. To the extent dxomark scores are objective the d3200 scores higher.

I think the sensor on the d5100 is fine enough unless you want to do video. My point was simply that the d5100 doesn't really have a sensor advantage like you might otherwise expect. I get that some shooters might prefer the d5100s 800-3200 ISO advantage over greater resolution at ISO 100-800 and better color. But I think if you're going to be objective I'd give a very tiny nod to the d3200's sensor. It's better in the situations most people find themselves in most often (ISO 100-800).

Feature wise the d3200 probably wins as well, as I'd take wifi and gps over a swivel screen. Plus the d3200 weighs substantially less.
