Amazon is selling the D40 with that same kit lens for $450 brand new, so you're going to have to go down to $400 or less if you hope to sell it, and memory cards are dirt cheap these days, so that's not going to get you anywhere.

Also, how much for just the SB-600?

Here's why you're not getting any replies:

1) The flash a $177 at Amazon brand new. Why would I pay you more for an open box model?
2) Amazon is a big, reputable online retailer. You're just a guy on a forum.
3) You haven't even waited half a day. Give it a bit of time.

I'm not trying to be insulting, I'm just saying that you should be a little more realistic.

The only thing you have to hope for here is that someone who's completely clueless wanders in here.

Here are my suggestions:

• D40 + kit lens: $375
• SB-600: $150
• Together: $450

Sorry, nobody is going to pay you more for something used (even if slightly used and in perfect condition) than they can for something new with a warranty from a reputable dealer. It just ain't gonna happen.

You're just going to have to accept the fact that, once you have opened goods, they just aren't worth as much as brand new. Deal with it.
