Hi there,

Hope someone can help me,

I have a Nikon D70 and have seen a Sigma 105mm F2.8 Marco EX lens on e-bay, this lense is currently being used on a Nikon F90X camera. Does anyone know what type of mount this lens would have on it (being used on the F90X) and would this lense fit straight on to my D70?

Thanks in advance

Nikon has been using basically the same mount since 1959 (F mount). This lens will definetly work on a D70.

Hi FrankyQ, I've currently got a thread about the difference between the Sigma 105mm EX Macro and the DG version of this lens http://thephotoforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22672)

I don't know anything about Nikon cameras, so I might be wrong in assuming that a F90X is a film camera and the D70 is digital. If that's the case (sorry if it's not) my question might be of interest to you (but the other way round).

Would the straight EX version work OK on your digital SLR? Or should you be looking for the DG version?
