Nikon D70 Weatherwise

I have a Nikon D70. I was wandering if anyone knew how well it can take the weather, rain and snow. I also have a Sony Cybershot V-1 & Sony Mavica CD 400. They can be out in the pooring rain with rain dripping off, and take pictures as long as the lense is pretty clean and water drops. Those two camera's have not shown any damage from the weather they have gone through. I doubt that the Nikon D70 being a professional digital slr can take as much, but I was wandering if anyone had experience with this stuff or have read articles about it.
