Nikon D80 aperture help

Hi. I have bought Nikon D80 and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 G and it's lowest aperture should be F3.5, but I can't manually get it under 5.6 unless camera does it by itself. Can someone tell me how to "unlock" lower aperture by myself ?

The Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 has a maximum aperture of f/3.5 when the lens is set to a focal length of 18mm and a maximum aperture of f/5.6 when the lens is zoomed out to 55mm. That is what the figures f/3.5-5.6 means.
If you zoom out to 18mm you will be able to open the aperture to f/3.5 but as you zoom to 55mm the aperture will decrease to f/5.6 as you get to a focal length of 55mm.
