Do Nikon & Canon give you a call when they release this info?
LOL, yeah, they know I'm the only one dumb enough to pay MSRP for photo gear...
No, I have an RSS Feed on My Yahoo site to DP Review, and they refresh their feed in real time... so these things pop pretty prominently.
Btw, I assume they will correct this soon, but right now the link to the Hands-On Preview goes to the Nikon D700 Preview, not the D90.
They did correct it. Looks pretty sweet.
It does do 720p video, but at 24fps. Not bad, but I wouldn't use it as a camcorder replacement. It's only a sign of things to come though. Well played Nikon.
I read on the nikon site that the msrp is 999.
what would be our cost?
Should I be drooling for one. Sounds like it should be a real good camera. I do need to upgrade from my D70s.
I think I want to buy it for my first dSLR. If I were to pre-order how long would it take to ship?
Video is pretty impressive for what it is. I was expecting worse.
why? do you use a camcorder that shoots better than 720p 24fps with various detachable lenses?
I use a 1080i/720p 60fps camcorder. It does not have detachable lenses though.
Here's a few of the D90 specific reviews so far:
