Nikon MB-D200

I needed a lot more battery life, and I also like the vertical grip, so I just ordered this for my D200. Do any of you guys have it? How do you like it? Does it add too much weight?

Yes, I like it for the battery power and the grip. I like the added weight, helps me hold it steady. I even added an "L" plate from Really Right Stuff.

I love mine. I actually have the D80 so I got the MB-D80 last night after a friend came over to visit who had the D200 with the MB-D200 battery grip. Like I said I just got it last night, but so far I love it. It adds weight which can be good and bad. The reason it is bad is because the camera can get kind of heavy, but the good far outweighs the bad. With a heavier camera you can actually go a little slower with the shutter speed because you can hold the camera more steady. I love the vertical AF, f-stop, and shutter control plus the aded battery life. I would recomend it for sure.
