what is wordless wednesday?

Wordless Wednesday is a group of about 400-500 bloggers who kind of take the day off from writing a long post. Some of the entries are truly wordless (like mine) others have some brief commentary on their pictures. I find it am interesting way to get traffic, make a few friends and see somethings I might not have.
