Nikon P6000 help!

Im new to using this camera, and just getting into picture taking actually, and was wondering if somebody could help me on take photos at night with this camera, ive tried reading the manual and just cannot understand it. Thanks.

mount it on a tripod ?

would be more helpful if you were to tell what it is your taking pictures of

using a tripod, put the camera in Shutter priortry mode and dial in 2-3 seconds and see what happens. you can continue to adjust the shutter speed lower if necessary.

leave the ISO at 200 if not lower.

the aperture will adjust accordling.

Yeah, nothing we tell you is going to matter unless we know what you want the end result to be.

Long exposure shots?
Stop motion in low light?
Flash photography?

Too many variables to play with - more info please.
