Nikon vs Canon

Lets stick to the facts
Canon has EF and EF-S mount, all are auto focus. EF-S for crop and EF for crop or full frame.

I hear Nikon's top bodies are excellent with ISO performance...

so its 1-1 in score...

oh dear................

honesty on the subject of Nikon Vs Canon or any other camera manufactures I don't put too much worry in camera body capabilities. Remember before this end of the year Canon was body top in mostly everything (barring AF in the 1DM3 ) now Nikon had trumped Canon.
Give it a year or less and new bodies will be out which will change all this round.
In the end I look at the lenses more and how they can benefit me since they directly affect what I can and cannot shoot.
Canon and Nikon have wide and high quality ranges of lenses - but Canon supertele lenses are significantly cheaper in price than Nikon - also Canon has the 5:1 macro lens - MPE 65 macro. These things are important to me as they support my interests - macro and wildlife.
