Something I've been working on. There is no PS work or filters applied. This shot has been converted from the RAW file only.

Same with this one. RAW conversion. This one does have a sepia filter applied only.

Are you looking through a peep hole at a door in the first one? Almost feels like something needs to be added to it. Wish I could suggest something. Not sure how I feel about the second one. For some reason I get the dust bowl and the Grapes of Wrath I think it's the sepia tone and the grainy appearance.
