G'day all

The small village of Boomi almost on the QLD - NSW border like many rural towns is struggling - and this business has long gone

Looks like an abandoned gas station I found in OK a few years back.

Sad to see the ghost stations

In anticipation of a low carbon future. It's still a sad sight of times gone by.

G'day mate. They closed because they were selling distillate instead of gasoline. ;)
G'day Alan

Sorry to burst your bubble ... but :p

we don't use gasoline in Australia, we use Petrol. Gas here Downunder is either LPG used in cooking etc or industrial gasses like Acetyline etc

Distillate --- the term went out of favour years ago for the more usual 'Diesel' of today

Travel safely
Phil
