I know of a photographer whose pictures are often vivid looking with rich colors. They look like they've been glossed by a clear coat or something! Here are some of his samples:

I'm pretty sure it's done by post-processing on photoshop. Any ideas?

Personally, I don't see anything 'special' about those images. They are good, and the color is nicely saturated.
