Hey guys I am new to all of this, kinda, I have been doing a lot of research and need some help. I am wondering if I can get an example of like the same photo with different zoom lenses so I can see what each mm can handle. Any help?

Thats exactly what I wanted thanks a ton! BTW how much do 500mm lenses usually run and what mm lenses to sports photogrphers use?

The Nikon 500mm f4 costs about £5000 (dunno in US). My friend who shoots some football uses a 400 f2.8 (i think) and teleconverters where necessary.

Sounds like a lot even though its not USD's lol. Would a smaller lens and a teleconverter create the same effect as a bigger lens or is there a difference.

just looked it up, $9,500! Yes, no difference. You loose one stop of light with a x1.4 and two stops with a x2 though.
