Hey everyone. I'm new to all this, but I've had my camera for a little over a year now. I started with my parents' old Pentax K1000 about two years ago, and then upgraded after I graduated high school to a Nikon D40X. So far, I've had a few people say I take good pictures, but I'd like to go further and try to make a career out of something I love to do. I'd love any input and advice both on my photography and the technical aspect of posting things here!

Yeah that sounds good... Do you have any of your best pics you could post up here for us to see and comment. Any idea where in photography you'd like to head? I'd suggest starting it as a part-time you do on the side and not just jump out there, just for security.

I want to put some pictures up, but I don't know how. I don't have photobucket or anything and would have to upload directly from my Mac. But I can't figure out how... I'm pretty technologically illiterate, haha.

I would suggest photobucket as it is the easiest and its free.
