One of my life goals -> To see the aurora!
These are awesome!
Can you give us some details on the exposure you used?
Photo of the month! No - ! Photo of the YEAR!
The Church one is just incredible. Wow. Wow. Wow.
Sure, anyone can take pictures of the Northern Lights if they really want to, but - wow, they are truly beautiful.
Stunning. Could you send them to me so I can get them printed as Wallpaper and stuck up in my room?
Anyone who criticises should be hung drawn and quartered.
Man, I have never been in the right place or the right time to see the Northern lights. These are amazing and it must have been something to watch. I hope one day to get as good of images as you have. Excellent job capturing them and a nice variety of locations. Love the person and car shot.
spectacular!!! do I see a satelite dish above the church??? what a site that must of been, when you see it again, call me and I will get Scotty to beam me over!!! lol!
church shot is so unbelievable!! congrats!
i agree, very stunning!
I freaking fell asleep while I was waiting for the show to start!!!!!
I had my 20D set up with the remote, and I was sitting out in my reclining lawnchair, and I freaking fell asleep. I am so angry now to. The storm reached above 10 on the Kp index, and was visible as low as southern cali.
Luckily I live away from lights, so I have a very clear view of the sky (I can even see the milky way with the naked eye on clear nights)
Also, if you want to know when the next show is going to be, go here
For frig's sake! I live in Northern Ontario, we are having crap weather so I have not even seen the sky in about a week, so I miss this! Come to think of it, in the last 3 or 4 years I think I have seen the aurora borealis once and that lasted about 2 minutes! For the last year, I have even been living in the country with ZERO light pollution. It is one thing to live in an area where you don't get the northern lights but it is even worse to be in a perfect place for them but still never seen them!
Just a little bummed out...
Awsome captures! Fantastic work, I have to start checking spaceweather.com more often
