Northern Lights

Well I catch the tail end of the nights activies. I will be prepared for Weds. night activities for sure. All are clckalbe for your supersizing pleasure.

This is a normal looking display of the lights.



I have never seen one this big. It just filled the sky with the activity. The red streak is part of the northern lights.






This one is not really the northern lights, but one shot before I left/froze for the night.


hopefully I will have more tomorrow after the big show. And some better pictures.

I've always wanted to see the aurora first-hand but those shots give me a good idea as to what it's like.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the latest batch, that CME is supposed to be massive so should give some great effects.
