Northern Watersnake

Captured on the river behind my cousin's house.

Northern Watersnake (Nerodia sipedon) chilling in a bush over the water. I'm not 100% happy with the focus, but I was pretty new to photography (still am) when I took this. Link below bigger size.

It's a little over-processed, but it was horribly noisy. It was kinda poorly exposed, and I had to play with it a lot to make it pop at all.

The noise doesn't bother me as much as me wishing there would have been more depth of field.
