...but I thought I might share, all the same:

This is my daughter starting for...

...and swimming a 100m butterfly race.

And just you imagine she were sooo good, she left all the others BEHIND, ok? ;)
(True fact is: the others were all years older than she is, but she did not come in last!)

huahaha sure :) no, no but really I think she might be like our own Polish Otylia Jedrzejczak, who already swam 2 silver medals in Athens in woman buterfly swimming. BUT... we are the best :)

Well, my girl's only 11, so no real Olympic Games for her as yet, but who knows about Peking 2008 ;););)???

Yes, the Polish swimmer is the best ... something's seriously wrong with our German swimmers ...

You will love a zoom lens, like a 300mm one. You can then take really good shots of your daughter in the water.

Believe it or not, MC, this was taken with the zoom out, though not fully, for I usually have problems with the shutter-times then, and mostly so in the weather conditions we had at the time (very cloudy - it was quite dark).

The action here is great! Looks like she really enjoys the sport.
