Notebook for Photo Editing

What would be your recommendation for a Notebook for photo editing ?

What's your budget? I love my 15" Macbook Pro, but I'm not sure everyone wants to make that kind of investment in a laptop.

you could go classic with a moleskin or Evernote, certainly cant go wrong there...
otherwise, go with something like a Rhodia or Baron Fig.

All depends upon what software you are going to be using to edit with. Top end requires a lot of memory and horsepower.

iPad Pro

i7 processor, minimum 16 gigs ram. SSD drive 1TB. I am a Mac Guy but I don't edit on a notebook. I always use a desktop. With that in mind I would suggest the following in the order listed.
Acer Aspire V17
Lenovo Z70
Apple MacBook Pro Retina

The first two are 17" monitors. The Macbook Retina is and outstanding display but is 15". All have the power to do what you need as you need for photo editing.
