needs more contrast. the arms, face, and the sock are blown out too. the first pic is just a crop right? If it is or isnt - lose it, i cant even tell what is happening.

The first photo should be in the 2nd order. If you see the whole picture that is there you can clearly see what it is.

Cool idea. Might try adding some motion, like the guy behind the wheelbarrow walking forward with it. Seems like it might do better in a rectangular format, as well. Lots of empty foreground here. Also, adding some space in front of the wheelbarrow would give it somewhere to go, so to speak, which also lends to a sense of motion.

Oh and blood. It needs blood... lots of it...
