It would've been nice to not to have the shadow on these building, can't fast forward the sun, right
I like #3 and #5 as well, good shots
newhannibal, hello and welcome to the forum!
I love the shot vertically down to the street. Glad to see you did not drop the camera.
Very nice and I am jealous of your location. Is that the roof of work or where you live?
I look forward to more photos during storms, sun, and NIGHT shots.
Is that the West Side, Down Town?
Me too. I'd kill to live in downtown Manhattan. Great shots.
ahhh NYC, I love it. great pics
love NYC pictures...... especially night time photographs.
The B&W is awesome, my favorite. But all are very nice. You're right, 3 is almost vertigo inducing.
All of them are really good, especially 1 and 6. I really like 3, it gives me vertigo just looking at it!
I think that the mono-tone on 2 doesn't really help the image, maybe add more contrast? Or maybe shoot at a different time, like an overcast day, I realise this may not be possible but it should help you for next time you're shooting.
The only one which I'm not really feeling is 5, I just feel it looks a bit boring.
Keep up the good work.
Wow they're all amazing!
4 and 5 doesn't do much for me but 3 is the best.
Number 3 would be cool for a long exposure at night to get the trails of the cars going by in the street.
indeed number 3 is vertigo inducing heheh, and the first one looks like a model for movie shots XD
Thanks guys, it is on the west side and the Downtown Club. I'm hoping to get up on there on a night but they haven't been lighting up the World Financial Center for some reason. I'm also not happy about #2 but not sure how I can fix it. Here are a few more (The rest are at my flickr account):
Edit: Also very proud but ran into the Mayor today:
