Observer Magazine Today

If anyone buys the Observer newspaper, take a look in the magazine today..... pretty interesting article showing how a photographer photographs his son on a regular basis since he was 20mins old, all black and white, similar position everytime... a lot of the photos are shown, its quite good.

I like a particular comment very much about the difference between some of the pictures when he hits his teens/puberty age.... a certain self consciousness begins to show in the photos, and then suddenly arrives a shaved head, after a head full of hair...etc

Take a look, just an interesting way to catalogue a person I thought... the guy is 17 now I think, when he hits 25 the whole series is going to be exhibited.

I thought it was a good article. That kind of project takes a lot of discipline - I planned to take a picture of my daughter in the same place/pose on her birthday every year, and I couldn't even manage that. Once a month for 17 years, and 8 more to go, that is something else.
