obsolete film sizes?

That's right, either dunk with the hangers, or tray develop, both in total darkness.

I picked up a box with a bunch of assorted sheet film hangers at a garage sale once. I think there were some 2.25x3.25 hangers. If you want them I'd sell them to you for the cost of shipping.
 
Graphics are fine cameras to learn LF basics with minus the movements. JandC is the place for your film as mentioned by others. Efke and JandC's own name brand film is quite excellent. John really cares about the product and is a good guy all around.

If you need instruction on tray development let me know. I suggest it over the hangers as they can be problematic causing uneven development around the edges.

Certianly look for a 4x5 camera, but be warned you will want an 8x10 or larger before long!
