Hi, all...
I am 36 (okay, not exactly old), and am pursuing something that's interested me since college. I was recently given a Ricoh XR-M and just shot a few rolls. I'm reading one of those noobie books and browsing around here to get my feet wet.
A few months ago, one of my students (I teach literature and composition) was looking for new subjects to shoot for her photography class. I said I always thought it would be cool to photograph the stages of haying -- tall grass, rolled hay, etc. Then I thought, 'Hey, I should be taking those shots, too.'
So, here I am. As a teacher, I know that there IS such a thing as a stupid question, so please excuse mine in advance.
