Hey folks. I'm new here. I got my camera and all my lenses stolen last month and need to replace everything. Fortunately, my insurance company is giving me more than it was all worth, so I'm going to get what I had or similar. I had my E-M5 (circa 2014) stolen, plus a 12-40mm Pro, 40-150mm Pro, 17mm, and fisheye. I am considering the new E-M5ii or the E-M1. I heard the new E-M1ii is coming out this fall, but I just can't bring myself to wait that long. Does anyone here have substantial reason to recommend one over the other (E-M5ii or E-M1)?

    Thanks much,
    Geoff

EM1 has a better grip but you can always but the optional grip for the EM5 mkII
Personally I like the size of the smaller camera better.
The price difference isn't very much anymore.

Thanks, chuasam. I know what I'm asking is mostly a decision I need to make on my own, of course, but I appreciate relative opinions on whether the new EM5 is better or worse or same as the old EM1? Stand out pros and cons?
