Hi,
I have just got an Olympus E-410 and have an old external flash unit which I thought I might use with the camera.
The flash unit is a Suntax 9800 A.
I was reading a website about external flash techniques and came accross this warning:
"A word of caution about older external flash units: Due to differences in voltage, using an older flash can damage a newer camera beyond repair. Adapters may be available so an older flash can be safely used. Contact the manufacturer to make sure"
Now my question is can my Olympus DSLR work with this flash unit safely?
thanks
