This is the entrance to the underground labyrinth at the amphitheatre in Spoletto, Italy. This is where the contestants and victims of entertainment awaited their fate.

Love this one. I like the dark center of that hallway. Makes ya wonder what might come out of there.
Would be a great place to shoot a horror movie.

Great photograph. I love the detail in the stones of the entry and how they are gradually lost to total darkness. Perfect 3d effect and makes me go into the image... and imagine stuff.
