First thing that comes to mind is the blur on the bottom of the pic is very distracting.

I would take a step back from the statue to possibly get a more frontal view but with the same perspective and maybe zoom out a little more to get the entire sheild of the statue on the right side.

As above...

However with your existing picture I would crop or clone the blurred bit out.

It will make for a much cleaner crisper and happier picture.
