Is there a difference in advertising on location photography versus on-site photography? Does it matter which term you use when advertising services (e.g., business cards, brochures)?

Thanks.:sillysmi:

i (being not a native speaker) would consider the terms to be almost equivalent.

just from personal feeling/taste I would prefer on location though. Maybe because location sounds just like the location of some event, whereas site sounds like it is a designated site, with some installations or whatever. location sounds slightly more general.

but maybe this is just me ;)

I agree..."on site" makes me think of a job site, or something not so fun....

"On location" has a more professional ring to it I think....Every time a fun event is covered on the news they are "Live on Location"...:)

Just muh 2 pennies....:)
