Great series! Such a wide variety of people, I think you caught each in their own element :)

My favorites in this order are 1, 8, and 2, although you did great work with all of them.

Some great street photography. I love number 5, the composition and lines are very strong and just make it stand out a little from the rest.
 
i like them, nice b&w conversions.
how far were you from these people when you took their picture? i always feel kinda akward when sticking a camera into people's faces (lens goes to 55mm so i have to get close).

These were with a 35mm lens on a 1.3x crop, so I was more or less in their faces for most of these shots. Obviously where you can see some background I was a little further away. It's fair to say that you can gauge the distance by how far away you would be standing-- the lens combo I was using is essentially the human eye's perspective.
 
I really like number 4. Beautiful composition. Its a great capture. Its always interesting to go people watching. :)
