One macro

    Took this one today with a Vivitar 2x tel converter behind a Minolta Celtic 50mm, 1:2 macro.

    The colors are amazing... and man thats close eh? Cant wait to get a teleconverter!

    Those are great colors. The repetitive lines add movement to the image. I would like to be able to see a bit more contrast and detail on the white thing in the middle (stamen? pistil? I missed a lot in bio). How did you light this?

    This is the centre of a Clematis bloom using natural light.

    I will try to get a shot of the "white thing". ;)

    I traveled a long way to get this for you, like 9' outside the basement door. ;)

    This shot is very close to a 1:1 macro with the lens wide open.

    It looks like chinese mushrooms and rice noodles, or maybe im hungry lol
