TPF Noob!
Young geisha at the Nisei Week Parade in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, circa 1984.
Truly a "luck of the moment" shot. She was a member of a group, doing a choreographed routine as they walked down the street. She was looking down, and then looked up right when I tripped the shutter. The instant I snapped this photo, I felt as if she were looking directly into my soul.
Scanned negative, Canon A-1, Albinar 80-200 f/3.9 zoom, exposure unrecorded. Some PP was done, mostly because of the age of the negative.
