    well i got my first dslr yesterday :D so this morning i went down to a local harbor and snapped some shots, this was definitely one of the best: C&C appreciated

    sony a300 with 75-300 f/4.5-5.6 attached.
    zoomed all the way in to 300mm

    Very nice! That's impressive clarity in the head area. I wish I had birds like this where I lived. Sparrows and Magpies aren't so easy to shoot.

    It might have been a neater shot if you could somehow make it look like he was in flight, by cropping off his feet or something. Aesthetically, that would be a terrible place to crop, but it would make the photo look even more technically impressive!
