In searching through the forum, it appears that mPix.com seems to be the favorite for getting prints made.

I've always used shutterfly, simply because a few years back I got a gift card to shutterfly when I had my son's picture taken with Santa at the mall.

I have yet to see anyone here who uses shutterfly.... what are the advantages of a site like mPix over shutterfly? Shutterfly seems a tad less expensive.

I use them both. We use shutterfly for 4x6 everyday prints for my wife to scrapbook and handing out to folks. We really like that they stamp the date on the back of the photo, which is a nice touch.

I have used MPIX for more formal portrait prints, and photos that are going to be framed.

I have yet to print to both places and compare though. My experience with both has been great.

Last time we used Shutterfly, they had a .10 per print for pre-payed plan special. Which is a great price.

The bottom line is I think they are both great print labs, and I used them both as described above.
