Can anyone suggest a good one.
Proud photography? theres a banner right there under the menu...
From the reviews I read after their little giveaway on our very own forum they are a good place to go.
I've never taken a photo class, but also hear good things about New York Institute of Photography. In fact, I know people who have taken the courses and swear by them. Either way you go, good luck with this.
I guess it depends what type of classes you are looking for. Are you looking for a full program like http://www.nyip.com/ or the one advertised on the forum http://www.proudphotography.com/ or something with specific topics like http://www.webphotoschool.com/ or http://www.betterphoto.com/online-photography-courses.asp . A couple of other options are http://www.shortcourses.com/ or http://www.shootsmarter.com/ . Something else to consider is looking into a photography workshop where you can get hands on assistance from an experienced photographer such as http://www.workshop.org/ or http://natureworkshops.com/s_florida.htm.
Personally I like the hands on workshops. Next Saturday I will be lucky enough to attend a workshop in Colorado with George Lepp (http://www.geolepp.com/)
Thank you for all the responses. I just bought Rebel XS, and looking to learn digital photography.
Been using point and shoot, and have captured some good shots so far.
Just learned today that Local Ritz Camera shop offers photography classes too.
