I have used film to shoot things a lot less interesting than Cheez Doodles.

Oh, I don't know. Weston used a lot of film photographing bell peppers. Sudek seemed to like window sills and the objects in his studio. Siskind is famous for peeling signs on walls. People certainly take a lot more pictures now, but photographing common objects that most people don't find interesting is an old tradition.
