Hi, I am giving out my first set of proofs from a recent shoot. Along with them I want to give out a nice little sheet of paper that has my phone number, address etc. at the top, and then the price of reprints and enlargements. My question is should I put anything at the bottom saying that all prints are copyrighted, and they are not allowed to scan them or make their own copies? I don't have them sign anything or read anything if they just come in for portraits, I do have a wedding contract though. If I should put this at the bottom how should I say it so that it comes across nicely? Thanks for your help,
Lally

Yes. Mine says

ALL IMAGES CREATED BY (insert studio name here) ARE PROTECTED BY US COPYRIGHT LAWS. EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION BY (insert studio name here) IS REQUIRED TO MAKE ANY COPY OF ANY IMAGE.

Thanks Tally Ho this is exactly what I am looking for. It's simple and to the point without a lot of legal jargon.
Thanks so much for your help,
Lally
