    I'm not certain if the rocks were painted orange, or if it's due to something more natural, but it sure does make for an interesting photo...

    Looks like this water contains a lot of iron so the rocks "rusted" ... the continuation of orange on the sticks, and rocks in the water suggest as much. Nice one! My attempts to handhold flowing-water pics have all failed ... too much camera shake. I need to lug that tripod around more, I guess.

    cool shot wendy, good eye. my guess is maybe some kind of algae/slime?

    like the red algae from the movie/book "Sahara"... :lol:

    I really like this one. I love waterfalls and the orange adds something to this photo.
