oriental lillies pretty not at all cheesy

    thought these flowers were so pretty i just couldn't help but take a few shots, here are the four i liked best.

    I think the 4th one looks the best, nice shot. The first two seem too odd for me.

    yeah when someone says "flower" the fourth is my fav too. . . for me the first two are about how alien it looked. . . idk, like tenticals or fingers or something, but not part of a flower.

    My faves are 2 and 4. (Oriental lilies are one of my favourite flowers. Nicely shot here.)

    I think it has been a bit slow. Not sure if it's a matter of fewer people being online, or of many new threads being started and pushing stuff off the front page very quickly. I suspect maybe it's a bit of both.

    [Heh heh, that kind of title may well get a thread more views! ]

    I like #4 a lot. I was a bit shocked to see BW shots of a plant which usually has such spectacular colors. #4 is very nice, though. ron

    I have to second all the votes for the 4th ... spectacular! I'd hang it on my wall, I'm a bit of a sucker for flowers in black and white for some reason!

    I like the 4th for the detail but I like the original concept of the 1st. It keeps my interst longer than the 4th.
