I'm upgrading my OS to Win7 tomorrow and would like to know if this will affect my LR2 catalog. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to reinstall all my software, but will all this information be kept? And if so, where? Do I need to do anything special to recover it?

Are you upgrading from Vista? XP requires a complete bare metal install.

He's upgrading the OS of his computer not his version of LR he needs backup/copies of files in case windows makes crap of the upgrade, which is highly probable considering the latest versions of windows. H
