This morning I met up with Raymond, Daisy and Maria to shoot some Ospreys. It has been a long time since the last time we shot together and Ray was nice enough to let me try out is D-200. The performance over the D-70 is much better and it is the next toy on my want list. These are some of the shots I took with Ray’s D-200.

Thanks Ray for the test drive. Tomorrow my wife and I are off on holidays and heading to Indiana to visit friends and next weekend to Thunder Over Michigan.

Cheers,

Eric

Mmmm, another great series Eric. It is such a beautiful, majestic bird and you captured it so well in these shots,

Thanks Ray and Anti. I’m on my second Rye and Coke at our first hotel. We are on a eight day road trip

Cheers,

Eric

Keep seeing these great Osprey shots just makes me want to plan a trip to Rutland Water. We've just had some Ospreys return to the UK

As for the D200, its a stunning camera ( thats a hard thing for me to say as I'm Canon till I die ) But there is a new 10mp dSLR coming from Nikon soon ( think its gonna be called the D80 ) Nikon are annoucing it on 9th August, it won't have the build of the D200 but they might be using the same sensor as the new Sony, which uses an upgraded D200 sensor. So that might be worth a look as well.
